Pizza Timer

Use pizza presets, reminders, sound controls, and fullscreen mode with the countdown as the focus.

How this timer works

Pizza Timer is a focused kitchen countdown for frozen pizza, reheating slices, air fryer timing, and skillet reheats. Choose a preset or set custom minutes and seconds, then keep the active countdown large and easy to read.

Presets and custom time

Presets fill in common pizza timings, including frozen oven, frozen air fryer, reheat slice, and skillet slice. Editing minutes or seconds switches the method to Custom and resets the countdown to the new value.

Early check reminder

The check reminder plays before the end, for example at 2 minutes left for oven pizza or 1 minute left for skillet reheating. Use it as a prompt to check browning and decide whether the pizza needs more time.

Sound controls

Sound controls the early check reminder and finish signal. Final beeps are optional short beeps in the last few seconds. Test reminder plays the selected reminder style without starting a timer.

Fullscreen kitchen display

Fullscreen keeps the countdown readable from across the kitchen. In fullscreen, click or tap the large time to start or pause, and press Esc to exit.

Shortcuts: Space starts or pauses, R resets, and F toggles fullscreen after the timer card has focus.
Need a broader kitchen timer? Cooking Timer covers general kitchen presets. Timing more than one dish? Multiple Timers is the better fit.

Need a general kitchen countdown for oven checks, simmering, or prep? Use the kitchen timer.

Keyboard shortcuts

Click the pizza timer card once, then use the shortcuts below. Shortcuts won’t trigger while you’re typing in an input field.

KeyAction
SpaceStart / pause
RReset to the selected time
FToggle fullscreen
Tip: if shortcuts do nothing, the card probably isn’t focused. Click inside the tool area once (not inside an input), then try again.

Common scenarios

Quick presets for frozen pizza, a big countdown display, optional check reminders, final beeps, fullscreen mode, and keyboard shortcuts.

Frozen pizza in the oven with a quick preset
Tap a frozen oven preset and start the countdown. Add a “check” reminder a couple minutes before the end so you can confirm browning and doneness without hovering.
For
Anyone cooking frozen pizza in a standard oven.
Not for
You want a general-purpose kitchen timer for everything you cook. Use Cooking Timer instead.
Frozen pizza in an air fryer with an early check
Use the air fryer preset and set a reminder to check before it finishes. Air fryers can brown fast, so an early check helps you decide whether to finish, flip, or pull it early.
For
Air fryer users who want a quick start and a check-in prompt.
Not for
You need a silent timer by default. Use Silent Timer instead.
Reheating a slice without overcooking it
Tap a short preset (or set a custom time), then enable a check reminder so you can stop early if it’s already hot. Final beeps help you catch the finish without watching the screen.
For
Quick reheats where seconds matter.
Not for
You want multiple different timers running at the same time. Use Multiple Timers instead.
Skillet reheating with a 1-minute check
Use a short skillet preset and set the check reminder to 1 minute left so you can check crispness and decide whether to cover, lower heat, or finish.
For
Skillet/covered-pan reheats that need a fast check-in.
Not for
You want a more visual, “at-a-glance” style timer. Use Visual Timer instead.
Big-screen countdown while you prep or clean
Go fullscreen for large digits you can see across the kitchen. In fullscreen, tap/click the time to start or pause without hunting for buttons.
For
Cooking while moving around the kitchen.
Not for
You only want a dedicated big-screen timer with minimal controls. Use Fullscreen Timer instead.
Timing pizza plus sides at the same time
Use Pizza Timer for the main countdown, then open Multiple Timers for sides (wings, fries, or garlic bread) so everything finishes close together.
For
Anyone juggling more than one dish at once.
Not for
You only need one simple countdown. Use Countdown Timer instead.
Tip: Set Check with X min left to 2 for oven or 1 for skillet as a quick “check it” moment. Use F for fullscreen, Space to start/pause, and R to reset.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the Pizza Timer?
Pizza Timer is a simple countdown timer with quick presets for frozen pizza and common reheating times. It includes a big, easy-to-read display, fullscreen mode, and optional reminders so you can check your pizza before it finishes.
How do I start quickly with a preset?
Tap a preset (for example Frozen (Oven 14m) or Frozen (Air fryer 10m)), then press Start. Presets also set a sensible default “check” reminder time for that method.
Can I set a custom time?
Yes. Enter your own Minutes and Seconds. When you edit the time, the Method switches to Custom automatically.
What does “Check with X min left” do?
It plays a reminder once when the timer reaches that remaining time (for example, at 2 minutes left). It’s meant to prompt a quick check so you can decide whether to pull the pizza or leave it a bit longer.
What reminder styles are available?
Repeating (10s): plays a short beep repeatedly for about 10 seconds.
Triple beep: plays three quick beeps.
None: disables the check reminder.
What are “Final beeps”?
If enabled (and Sound is on), the timer plays short beeps in the last 5 seconds (5…1) to help you catch the finish without watching the screen constantly.
Why don’t I hear sound?
Make sure Sound is enabled, your device volume is up, and the tab isn’t muted. Some browsers require a user interaction before audio can play, so press Start once with Sound on, then try Test reminder again.
How do I stop a repeating reminder sound?
Click Stop sound. This ends any repeating reminder early.
How do I use fullscreen mode?
Click Fullscreen (or press F after clicking the timer card once). Press Esc to exit fullscreen. In fullscreen, you can tap/click the time to start or pause.
How do I start, pause, or reset?
Use Start/Pause to control the countdown. Reset returns the timer to the currently selected time (preset or custom).
What are the keyboard shortcuts?
Space: start/pause · R: reset · F: fullscreen
Tip: click the timer card once so it captures keyboard input.
Why aren’t keyboard shortcuts working?
Click the card once to focus it, then try again. Shortcuts are ignored while you’re typing in an input field.
What can change pizza timing?
Oven temperature, preheating, crust thickness, topping load, rack position, pizza stone or pan material, and whether the pizza is frozen, homemade, or reheated can all change the right check time.
Does the timer keep running if I switch tabs?
The timer tracks a target end time while the page is open. Power-saving modes can affect animation smoothness or background updates, but remaining time is recalculated from the end time when the page is active again.
Does this tool send any data anywhere?
No. The timer runs locally in your browser. This page does not send your timer settings or timer state anywhere.
Which related timer should I use instead?
Want a general kitchen timer for anything? Cooking Timer. Need a simple countdown with no presets? Countdown Timer. Prefer no audio? Silent Timer. Need a pure big-screen view? Fullscreen Timer. Timing multiple dishes at once? Multiple Timers.
